About
Dave
I'm
Dave Rienecker, the proprietor
of
DAVE DOES
DOORS.
I'm a third generation San Franciscan, although I
have called Millbrae home for most of my life.
After nearly a decade of working in the family
business, I was ready to do something that tapped
into my creative side. In 1984 I hired on as an
apprentice carpenter with Designed Building Systems
Inc., a well-known firm that specializes in
government facilities. In 1988 I became a state certified journeyman.
I
worked on a variety of projects to include: Moffet
Naval Air Station, the Lawrence Livermore National
Laboratory, VA hospitals in Menlo Park, Oakland and
Livermore, Stanford University, and dozens of
public schools across the state of California. I
was specially selected to install maximum security
detention doors at Fairfield Juvenile Hall, a job
that required tremendous skill and precision. To
date, no one has ever breached the security door
systems that I've installed. Robert Button, the
State Architect, said of my work: "Hollow metal
doors and frames installation exceeds the quality
of craftsmanship I regularly see in my
observations."
In
1996, I studied for and received my contractor's
license. It was at this time that I decided to
start my own business,
DAVE
DOES DOORS.
My experience, knowledge and commitment to customer
satisfaction has earned awards
for outstanding customer service for the past seven years.
